I feel honored to tell you about it. Celebrated on May 5th in the lunar calendar, it is a folk festival having a history of more than two thousand years. Also, it is one of the most important festivals in China.

As for the origin of the Dragon Boat Festival, there are many beautiful legends, of which the story about Qu Yuan is most widely accepted. 在上世紀90年代中後期，鏡湖的水體呈高富營養化狀態，水質嚴重惡化，水變成了黃色。惡化的原因主要有：蕪湖市某醫院通過地下水道將大量未經處理的污物、污水直接排進了鏡湖；部分素質不高的市民往鏡湖裏倒垃圾；最可氣的是鏡湖風景區的某些工作人員竟然在鏡湖裏洗拖把！慢慢地，鏡湖水變成了黃色，湖面上漂浮着許多垃圾，還散發着一股臭味。來到鏡湖邊的人們都捂着鼻子跑開了，嘴裏還不停地説：“真臭！臭死了！”

一九九九年DDD二０００年，蕪湖市人民政府號召全市人民清理鏡湖。首先，工作人員用機器將湖水抽乾，再由黨員帶頭和市民們一起挖掉淤泥，最後注入清澈的水。我外公是黨員，他有着親身體驗，外公説，那次勞動很累，但改善了鏡湖的水質，大夥兒都感到很高興。

Sometimes there are some crazy people driving on the roads without driving licenses, or worse, drink and drive, which can make the road into a bloody battle field. Why do such things happen? In my opinion, it is just due to their lack of moral duty that people ignore various traffic rules, road safety, or even the lives of others. This leads to their bad and reckless behavior, which makes the traffic conditions go from bad to worse. It is believed t hat something should be done to improve the whole situation. Then road safety won't be a problem and traffic conditions won't be a bother to us anymore.
