“叮鈴鈴”早讀鈴響了，我們的英語老師走進課室，說“請大家拿出書本早讀。”
早讀開始了，我們齊刷刷的拿出書本，開始讀第一單元，就在這時，只見英語老師突然的用手拍了一下桌子，說“：伍文翔，你在幹嘛。“我們一看，哦，原來伍文翔又沒有帶英語書，而且還在座位玩手指。伍文翔好像沒有聽到老師說的話一樣，還在座位繼續玩手指，英語老師看到這個情況，火氣馬上從肚子直接升到頭頂，火冒三丈的向伍文翔走去，伍文翔看到這裏時，馬上不玩手指，乖乖的坐好，可是，英語老師還是怒氣衝衝，在伍文翔面前大聲的說”：你在幹嘛。“伍文翔說“：我忘記帶書本。”英語老師聽到這句話後，大發雷霆，大聲的吼伍文翔說“：你沒有帶書本，不會和同學一起看嗎？要在那裏玩手指”伍文翔說“：我不是和樑曉彤一起看嗎？”英語老師聽到這句話後，臉漲得紅彤彤的，說“：你們離得這麼遠，怎麼看，你有望遠鏡嗎？”伍文翔看到老師的臉色，變得面如土色，英語老師拿着一根棍子用力的去打伍文翔的手，英語老師打完伍文翔之後，伍文翔坐在座位大聲的哭，英語老師又大聲的對我們說”以後誰要是和伍文翔一樣，上課做別的東西的話，就和伍文翔一樣的下場。”

就在上個星期天的早上，媽媽六點半的時候就把我叫了起來。理由是因爲媽媽要參加執法考試，我便匆匆洗漱，吃了點東西就要飛奔至英語班。媽媽開着車，很快就把我送到了英語班。上課的時候，不知怎麼了，我的眼皮開始打架了，腦袋也變沉了。我心裏打着小鼓：“咚咚咚，千萬不要睡着了。”可是後來迷迷糊糊的竟然睡着了！不知過了多久，同桌拍拍我的肩頭說：“馮怡欣！快醒醒！”我這時半睡半醒的，心裏想：“這是夢，是周公給我開的玩笑。”這時老師走來，拍拍我說：“忍一下，下課再睡吧。”這時，我心裏一驚，暗叫不妙，猛的擡起頭，這時老師就在我旁邊，而班上的二十幾個人早已笑成了一片，我那時快要羞死了，當時腦袋一片空白。我就這樣混過了一上午，放學後我逃似的回了家，媽媽一看見我就面露不悅，說：“欣欣，你是不是上課睡覺了！”我一聽，只好承認“媽，對不起。”媽媽卻說：“不用說對不起，你給我回房間好好反省一下自己的行爲。”雖不是什麼嚴厲的批評，但眼淚還是止不住的往外流。

萬聖節前夕
是美國人年年都會慶祝的秋季節日。它的意思是“神聖的夜晚”，在每年的10月31日，也就是萬聖節前夜。但實際上這不是一個真正的宗教節日，而主要是孩子們的節日。
每年秋天蔬菜成熟可以食用的時候，孩子們就會挑出大個兒的橙色南瓜。然後在南瓜上刻上一張臉，把一根點燃的蠟燭放在裏面。看起來就好像有人在向南瓜外面張望。這些燈就叫做“iack-o'-lantems”，意思也就是“傑克的燈”。
每年萬聖節前夕孩子們還戴上奇怪的面具，穿上嚇人的服裝。有些孩子把臉刷成怪物。然後他們拿着盒子或袋子挨家挨戶串門。每來到一個新房子他們就說：“不款待就搗亂!給錢還是吃的!”大人們就會把用來招待的錢或糖放在他們的袋子裏了。
