1. 動筆之前，認真審題
《中考考試說明》指出，書面表達要切中題意。怎樣才能切中題意?就是要認真審題，看到考題後，先不要急於動筆，要仔細看清題目要求的內容。在自己的頭腦中構思出一個框架或畫面，確定短文的中心思想，不要匆匆下筆，看懂題意，根據、圖表、提綱或短文提供的資料和信息來審題。審題要審格式、體裁、人物關係、故事情節、主體時態、活動時間、地點等。
2. 圍繞中心，擬定提綱
書面表達評分原則有四條：
(1)內容要點;
(2)運用詞彙和結構的數量;
(3)運用語法結構和詞彙的準確性;
(4)上下文的連貫性。
由此可見，要點是給分的一個重要因素。爲了防止寫作過程中遺漏要點，同學們要充分發揮自己的`觀察力，把情景中給出的各個要點逐條列出。根據短文的中心思想考慮如何開頭、展開和結尾，設想幾個承上啓下的連詞，將主要句型、關鍵詞語草草記下，形成提綱，寫時切忌結構分散，廢話連篇，嚴重跑題。書面表達，內容廣泛，題材多樣，要弄清考題的要求是寫人、敘事、介紹、評論、圖表、書信、、通知、便條還是看圖作文或改寫縮寫。如果是，要寫清年、月、日和天氣情況;如果是書信，則要注意書信的格式，注意短文字數不要低於或超過規定的字數太多。

1.內容完整，語句流暢，無語法錯誤，書寫規範，給9-10分；
2.內容較完整，語句較流暢，基本無語法錯誤，書寫較規範，給6-8分；
3.內容不完整，語句欠流暢，語法錯誤較多，書寫較規範，給3-5分；
4.只寫出個別要點，語法錯誤較多，書寫欠規範，只有個別句子可讀或不知所云，給0-2分。
從個評分標準來看，它對考生的作文要求有四點：

所以，在寫作文的時候，大家要牢記這些要求。
要做到內容完整，我們首先要認清看好題目的要求，抓住要點，注意文體。我們可以在寫作之前好好構思一下，自己將從幾個方面來寫。是否能將所有內容都包含在內。在寫完之後，再檢查一遍。看看有沒有內容的缺失。
要做到語句的流暢，這就要求有紮實的英語基本功。在平時的積累上，注意一些語義的表達方法。要儘量使用自己能夠正確運用的語句和表達方式。注意句子之間的連貫性。這不僅僅指從語法上，也指句意上的連貫。
在初中階段，考生應注意語法點有：動詞單三形式，時態（包括：現在進行時，一般過去時，將來時），定語從句（此項語法建議考生儘量不要使用），語態，單複數，主謂一致，冠詞等還有一些表達方式。比如，我非常喜歡足球。考生經常會寫成I very like football.這樣的錯誤一定要避免。
